As i understand it the primary witness in the case Forza is referring to was a complete fraud... you'd kind of think that's the police's job to work out, but Watson, doesn't look clever for 'promoting' the guy or for using inflammatory language. On the flip side, according to the police his involvement in bringing other cases to their attention helped put several *****philes behind bars.
Just thought I would throw this in to generate traffic We all know labour are in the **** but now see the liberal undemocratic party are forming alliances with anyone they can to try and scupper our democratic rights hope those who are tempted bear this in mind when it comes to the GE
FFS labour wants to lower the voting age to 16, the BBC are just doing a Q&A session at a university in Leeds and one of the students has just asked is he can vote in Leeds and at his home address in the GE.
Maybe not but life’s experiences are when it comes to a GE get a grip for once and just think about what you say
So how are you going to grade these life experiences and then weight or handicap the votes accordingly? Or maybe that's not the best way to decide who's eligible to vote. But if you're old enough to be in the Army, old enough to marry and old enough to pay taxes then maybe you're probably old enough to vote.
Old enough to be in the army with parent’s permission if you are under 18 you don’t have to be ‘intelligent” to pay tax with regards to getting married at 16 I wonder how many of these survive the test of time when both parties have experience of the world
It’s a trade off I guess if you look at it logically. Today’s youth are wet behind the ears and don’t have the experience of real life like the older generation. On the flip side, they are likely to be better educated, more open minded, less senile and less likely to need a bed pan than the older generation. Let’s face it, we oldies get a bit set in our ways. Maybe they should have a minimum and maximum age for voting. Maybe they should include iq or numeracy/literacy tests... and if you don’t pass you can’t vote. Or maybe you just accept that everybody of a certain age has the right to an opinion whether it’s the same as yours or not. I don’t have a strong opinion on it personally but STD voting age in the western world is 18, those wanting it lowered are generally Democrats/socialists because younger people are generally more idealistic and likely to vote for them... before life grinds them down into cynical miserable old cnuts.
I did a lot of maintenance work in the student accommodations around Headingley and spoke to many of them, and i can honestly say, ive never met a more stupid bunch of thick dimwits in my life, they really are dumb ****ers and their hygiene was disgusting
funny you should say that, I did my degree in Leeds... I remember ****ting on the floor one day while a really clued up guy mended the toilet. Didn’t know we’d met bud!
