But if I'm wrong then you could do very well by putting money where your hopes are - 3/1 at moment we leave on Oct 31 and 1/4 we don't... Could make a lot of money if you back Honest Boris and Cunning Plan Cummings....

I don't recall saying he was. I was merely offering a money making opportunity for those who totally back and trust Honest Boris and Cunning Plan Cummings.

Benn bill requires PM to ask for extension until 31 Jan, the EU can come back with something else and there's a couple of days for that to be negotiated and then whatever the EU offers must be put to a vote in HoC. So EU might decide that Jan is not enough time for the UK to not spaff it up the wall but they won't want any extension after June as that's when we have the power to veto the budget and cause (a lot of) trouble.

Which I imagine would encorage a lot of people on here to put a lot of money on us leaving on 31st as they know that I'm wrong and that Boris is very honest when he says he would rather die in a ditch than ask for an extension and that Cunning Plan Cummings knew all along that the supreme court would rule the unlawful prorogation unlawful and he will get round the Benn act.

Why would that stop us having an election?

Tell me, don't the UK have the power to block the EU doing anything.

All it would take is an extra letter saying if we are kept in after 31st October, we will bring the EU till a stand still.

Because in the 'undemocratic' EU any extension/deal requires agreement of 27 nation states So would have to be decided by mid January, throw in Christmas etc doesn't give much time. June gives plenty of time for an election, a deal to be finalised or a referendum to be set up.

it would have to be a credible threat. At present this government is not credible where as the parliment is credible. It's obviously very possible for the Uk to threaten the EU but equally it might not be wise to do that with your major trading partners who you will then have to negotaite a trade deal with.

At moment Parliament isn't credible to the people, most are 2 faced back stabbing dishonest treasonous bastards who don't want to honour democracy and the will of the people.

It doesn't matter whether you or I think it's credible - it's what is actually credible to the EU. And the parliament is a lot more credible than Boris. Could Boris threaten to disrupt the EU - in principle yes, could parliament stop him from doing that - at present yes.

Its simple really, the losers in parliament cannot accept the result of the referendum, they are trying every trick in the book and even making more up to thwart it, they are a bunch of mendacious, hypocritical lying ****s who are far from credible.
I accept you are a avid remoaner , who, like them will do anything to stay, but fo'fuxake stop kidding yourself

What are you on? The EU doesn't give a **** about the credibility of the UK parliament and neither should we worry about it.

They are only plying that route because it suits them and promotes their own motives and aspirations, whereas Boris does not.
