Just by virtue of the fact he chose to shag Eggwina Currie, the obnoxious, horse-faced, attention-seeking old ****, rather that remain faithful to the long suffering Norma, is clearly indicative that his judgement and opinions on ANYTHING are not worth **** all That is probably why he was such a ****ing useless Prime Minister. Too busy bending that old scrubber over the desk rather than concentrating on being an efficient leader.
Thanks for that. I had no idea that this proroguing had happened before. Shocking. It shouldn't have happened then, and it shouldn't happen now. For me, it's a matter of principle. I would still be objecting if proroguing was being used by the Remainers to further their agenda. It's not all about Brexit - democracy is far more important, and proroguing flies in the face of that.
Tommy Robinson could bring legal action against Boris if he tried to do this, the whole establishment remoaner ****s would hang on his every word saying what a great man he is. Its all bollox
I'm still one of the undecided, btw. I have no idea what's best for this country. We'll probably only find out long after I'm dead. A lot of people believe they know, one way or the other, but they don't. It's all lies, rumour, hopes & aspirations. No-one can know the possible outcomes for certain. But yes, you're right, the nation voted for Brexit. But what flavour of Brexit? It's like getting the wife's permission to buy a car. She's thinking family car & you're going to buy a Lambo on the never-never, simply because you got a decision in principle to buy a car. Perhaps not the best illustration of my point, but it's basically the same. Brexit was sold as a concept, not a working, provable model. This is now becoming apparent to more & more people, so they are right to question the way forward. For me, it seems quite sensible to have another referendum, now that people are much more aware of what the Brexit concept means. I can't see what the objections are to this, but have to concede that practical & sensible it might be, it's most certainly not going to be put in place by October, so won't happen. If it did, I still don't know what way I'd vote.
Danny Tommo talks about the ongoing threats of murder against a victim's family by the Telford Muslim rape gangs. A copper involved in the case rings Danny and tries to intimidate him. And Tommy's suppose to be the bad guy.
Whilst I do not agree with another referendum just supposing we did have another and the results were the same as last time, tell me where do we go from there. The likes of Gina Miller and Soubry etc. Are trying to take the democratic voice of the people away from us. Before long we would have a dictatorship I kid you not. We are being disenfranchised and a lot of people can not see this. All people are entitled to their views but democracy should rule the day.
I have to agree with that if our some of our elected MPs believed in democracy we would have been out of the EU ages ago. Problem is I don't believe another referendum or a general election will sort this out as long as you have people like Gina Miller stiring the s--t.
It’s happened quite, generally preceding an election. In fact that’s what major did, but he took the piss by doing it earlier than the norm... and timing it to stop the publication of the cash for questions investigation. On the this matter Olof/Alf is on the money. Of all the people to get on their high horse regarding proroguing, John major is not the man with any moral high ground.
John major is just a bitter and twisted old man because he could not hack it as PM or control the leave element in his own party who eventually got him out, now all he's concerned with is getting his own back. Someone needs to kick that soap box from under his feet that he usually stands on.
Bet he was popular with the sixth formers at Eton. When one shouted "Faaag", I bet he was the first in line.
We would not be in the same place as before. It would be a choice between Remain and a specific form of Leave (whether it’s some deal Boris does or no deal). So people should know exactly what they are voting for and everyone voting for Leave would be voting for the same thing. I don’t see why 52-48 would not be clear (either way). Personally I’d accept the result. I wouldn’t like it if it was Leave but I’d accept it, there could be a campaign to rejoin in (say) 10 years time but I’d accept we were leaving.
Rather brief response from me because the argument is just going round in circles. No second referendum Let's have a general election where each party puts their agenda on the EU in their manifesto, at the same time let us pass a law which requires a general election to be called whenever the elected prime minister is no longer in a position to fulfill the post. Whilst on the subject let's pass a binding law which requires all mp's to accept the democratic will of the people. If they can not accept democracy they should be kicked out of parliament or tried for treason.
