So despite the 12 hour optimism post May's PR stunt trip to Strasbourg it's now pretty certain with ERG and DUP saying they're voting against it that May's deal is dead (and probably her as PM depending on size of defeat) - So what next? Very likely No deal will be voted down tomorrow so then what; Delay for election?

 

What's the point of having an election, we have no democracy, which ever way an election went we can dispute the result and have perpetual elections till hell freezes over. No doubt that would make you happy.

 

It's written in law that we leave on the 29th March and tomorrow's vote is just a motion which if it passes still doesn't overturn that which is written in law.

Leaving on the 29th with no deal is still very much on the cards regardless of whether they vote tomorrow to 'take no deal off the table'. It does no such thing. Only a change of the law that was agreed in Parliament that 29th March 2019 would be the date the UK leaves the EU can do that.

 

Yes I would like us to keep having elections until hell freezes over. Regularly having elections is kind of one of the key elements of being a democracy.

We have election some don't like the result so we have another election then others don't like the result so we have another election all in as short a time as possible forgetting the current 5 year term surely even you knew what I meant.
