You mean the EU don't want to work together because they are ****s,and would try to fook things up,even if it costs them a lot of money.
Except of course you don't https://www.wto.org/english/thewto_e/whatis_e/tif_e/fact2_e.htm otherwise why are we leaving the EU to strike 'trade deals'
Only the WTO have a disputes process where things stay the same if you can't agree,as there is a long waiting time and the WTO is becoming obsolete this year it wouldn't matter.
You and the backstabbers have made time run out, should just have time to sort a few problems,to the benefit of all.
So whilst the long dispute is going on the EU will continue to charge tarriffs and carry out custom checks - how does this help us? WTO becoming obsolete this year - any particular source for that (LL youtube videos are not counted)
WTO needs judges to settle disputes,1 leaves the post this year and the USA are blocking any more being voted in.So they won't be able to function, look it up,can't do links on my phone. The EU can agree to an agreement to carry on for any period they wish,it's to their benefit more than anyone, only a bitter British hating organisation wouldn't want to do it. Google.USA blocks wto judges
While change on anything brings about disruption, the level of disruption will not be at the dizzy heights the remoaning fear mongers, and rebel Tories are trying to make everyone believe. The disruption will be all about changing things back to UK standards and levels, people get disrupted when they move house. Countries are lining up to do trade deals with us, and we'll still be trading with the EU Countries after 29th March for 12 months, and probably behind. As the 29th March looms closer, the pound ain't doing too bad either. The EU ain't going to be around for much longer as the populist right are taking their countries back all over Europe, and the world. The people / new leaders are beginning to realise what a mess the EU are in, and how corrupt some of it's polly's are. Both Estonia and Canada are the latest countries to have realised that, and the populist right have risen to take their countries back. The NWO/Illuminati/Soros and Co are getting their arses kicked.......BIG TIME.
This is the current queue for the Gibraltar border. Currently 14 minutes. http://www.frontierqueue.gi/ Gibraltar is also less than a mile wide and has a natural pinch point to the border where the staff for both countries can check passports. Currently it can be quite easy as both countries have a special relationship with the EU. Imposing the same border on 310 miles between Northern Ireland when one country is not in the EU and the other is and when at parts if you overtake someone on the road you’d be entering a different country would be harder in terms of logistics and costs.
What has NI got to do with delays in Dover in 1975? Oh yeah, youve no answer to the original question so you spout bollox
Do you actually know why the EU want the open border?.......The clue is in the word OPEN, the definition is in the word INFILTRATION. Do you think the EU are threatening Russia about having the same open borders?.........if not, why not.
Apologies thought you were referring to the Northern Ireland border. But in answer to the original question there's no point looking back to 1975 as it was completely different, the economy and culture has been built upon us having frictionless trade with Europe. It's like saying we didn't have Motorways in the 1950's and we survived. If you were to rip them all out in 3 weeks time it would cause chaos as business and people have been built on the basis that they exist.
So we should let 100 terrorists or so dictate what 60 million have to do,thank god you weren't around in 1940 or we would all be goose stepping.
Or alternatively is 20 years of peace worth throwing away for the sake of a blue covered passport we could have had anyway, a new 50 pence and avoiding hearing some Polish voices in Tesco's. As for the goose-stepping some of you on here are doing that anyway..
