Should Scotland be given independence from the rest of the U.K. Yes if that's what the people want simples. However they should be made aware that if the answer to any referendum is yes the they cannot just change their minds after a few years. If they vote to leave the uk any question of membership of EU for Scotland would have nothing to do with the rest of the U.K.
Wouldn’t we have a veto, as an existing member? Not that we would use it - Anyway it’s irrelevant now.....
No worries I guess what I was saying, somewhat subliminally, is why would anyone NOT want the chance to change their mind on something as important as Scottish independence - or Brexit, once the true FACTS rather than pre-vote propaganda and spin are in the open for analysis? Has nobody ever changed their minds on anything? Of course we have - whether it’s a drink, a curry, which route to take on our way to the airport, which partner to live with - then why not something which will affect our nation(s) for the rest of our lives and generations to come?
On it this Saturday while someone's watching football up there 20 foot high by Saturday night with watch towers and guard dogs.
People would then want another vote on leave after 2 years,it would keep coming up and would never get acted on,thus destroying democracy.
The people did get the chance to change their minds on the 23rd of June 2016 did the losers whinge and stamp their feet back in 1975 for another vote ?
