then that would open up why starmer stopped the Saville inquiry and the Rotherham enquiry for nearly a year only for him to be taken off the case and Afzal appointed using the same evidence Starmer had hid managed to get all of the convictions. why not Saville you ask because then Starmer would have had to identify labour Lord Ahmed of Rotherham but justice has been done he has finally been caught, because racist and the other viciouse slurs that get bandied about to escape justice dont work now, and the twat got five and a half years finally, long wait though thanks to Starmer

    There's only three possible conclusions that can be made following this statement ;

    1/ you're incredibly thick

2/ you're an actual apologist for a serial rapist child molester.

    3/ both of the above

Blimey, what's started this thread up again?
With Savile, Starmer wasn't the reviewing lawyer - it was that lawyer that decided not to proceed with prosecution - not helped by the police not joining up separate complaints against Savile and the victims not wanting to give evidence. A later QC led review said that the DPP wasn't involved but things could have been pushed through if the complaints had been linked as the victims may have thought they'd have been believed. Even Tory MPs have told Boris to withdraw his comments because they're not right.
Rotherham - absolutely chuff all to do with Starmer and the DPP. In fact, one gang were convicted whilst he was head of the DPP. What was suppressed was the 2020 Home Office Report, which was after the major round of prosecutions. It was suppressed by the Tory Home Secretary. Its the police and local authorities who were singled out and who copped all the flak over the bungles and missed opportunities.

We failed grooming victims, law chief Keir Starmer admits

Sir Keir accepted Alison Levitt’s conclusions and apologised for the CPS’ “shortcomings” in the Savile case. He left the CPS in November 2013, and was elected as a Labour MP at the 2015 general election.

Starmers head of cp dropped the Rotherham grooming case for nearly a year, for 2 reasons 1. his friend Labour peer Lord Ahmed was involved 2. He didn't want to be thought of as racist for bringing a bunch of only Pakistanis to trial, so he discredited the girls testimony even thought there was DNA evidence

5 Jan 2022 — Lord Ahmed of Rotherham is convicted of assaulting a young boy and a girl's attempted rape.

One brave police woman left the force to fight the injustice the girls got so much so Detective constable Maggie Olive she kept up the pressure until Kier Starmer was pushed aside and Nazir Afzal was appointed he took the evidence Stammer had rejected along with the dna and prosecuted successfully

Police officer who was being investigated as part of probe into Rotherham child sex scandal has died after he was hit by a car as he crossed the street
    • PC Hassan Ali has died a week after he was knocked down in Sheffield
    • South Yorkshire Police say his death is not treated as suspicious
    • PC was on 'restricted duties' over four allegations linked to Rotherham
    • One abuse victim had complained that he twice asked her on dates
    • His 'devastated' force has today paid tribute to the 'well-liked' police officer
    • Tampering with evidence was also rife in the case
Dont post innuendo without checking your facts as it has a tendency to come back and bite your ass

What? Yes, Starmer did apologise for the CPS handling of Savile. That's well documented and he ordered changes to the procedures. However, the 2013 QC led review put the failings down to the social services and the police; look up the LEVITT ENQUIRY. I'll say it again - Tory MPs have told Boris he was wrong to say what he did because its not true.

Rotherham - that series of case ran for years (starts 2002) before Starmer was at the DPP and for years afterwards (ended 2020). You've made statements with no factual basis. Read the extensive Wiki article on Rotherham - nothing to do with the DPP. Starmer doesn't even get a mention. He didn't discredit the girls - that was the police and social services. Read the article.

Lord Ahmed doesn't feature in those cases. His convictions were for offences committed in 1971 and 1974.

Here is a 2020 article on the government (Home Sec: one Sajid Javid) suppressing the Rotherham report.

I've linked to that article already - below is a quote from the link. Note that it was Sajid Javid who was the Tory Home Secretary who withheld the results.
Sajid Javid promised the review as home secretary in July 2018, pledging that there would be “no no-go areas of inquiry”.
“I will not let cultural or political sensitivities get in the way of understanding the problem and doing something about it,” he said at the time.

Afzal didn't and couldn't have 'pushed aside' Starmer because as DPP, Starmer was the Chief Crown Prosecutor - the head of the whole CPS. So Afzal worked for him. Starmer never 'ran' the Rotherham Grooming Case, that was the case lawyer and Afzals predecessor.
From Wiki: Afzal spent most of his career in the Crown Prosecution Service, rising to be Chief Crown Prosecutor for North West England in 2011, a role he held until leaving the CPS in 2015.

By the way - see this:

Have you actually watched these? For a quicker version, here she is in her own words: she got pissed off by the Greater Manchester Police - the police are mentioned all the way through - and social services.
Who is Maggie Oliver? The detective who resigned over the treatment of 'Amber' - Manchester Evening News

As to the CPS, they get one mention above - "Before the case started, the Crown Prosecution Service decided she [Amber] had been a victim before becoming a perpetrator and ruled it was not in the public interest to prosecute her".

have you checked any facts Kier Starmer was in charge or the Rotherham investigation where his friend Labour Lord was under investigation for Kiddie Fiddling.
Kier Starmer buried the investigation almost a year later Afzal was appointed, who prosecuted with the same information that Starmer hid and he won. The evidence went missing and was tampered with under his watch to try and kill the investigation, the policeman who got caught tampering with the investigation was mown down and killed, Starmer said said it was not in the public's interest to publish , bollocks its would have shown how deep he was into a cover up. This all went on under a labour council

If you dispute these facts please state which ones of these main ones listed instead of choosing little bits of irrelevant snippets to make it look like Starmer walks on water you are not correct in your assumptions,

1 Feb 2022 — Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse finds 'extensive failures' in ... most notably in Rotherham, but also in the likes of Rochdale, under Kier Starmers watch

please log in to view this image

Officers on the Rochdale division were under pressure at the time to hit ‘volume crime’ targets like bringing down the number of burglaries and were overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the problem.

More than that, the alleged abusers were Asian men picking on vulnerable white girls.

There were fears that police bosses seemed reluctant to grasp the nettle for fear of being branded racist.

It took police 11 months to compile a file of evidence for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) – after interviewing her on four separate occasions.

On one of those interviews a police officer can be heard yawning while repeatedly asking why she had put herself in such a vulnerable position.

And then, in July 2009, an ‘experienced’ CPS lawyer ruled the victim was ‘not credible’ and decided that the two men who raped her should be released without charge.
The abuse of the girls continued until May 2010 – 10 months after the case was dropped – when police decided to revisit the investigation after a Rochdale youth project raised concerns about other complaints.

A new investigation, dubbed Operation Span, was instated, including Detective Constable Maggie Oliver whose task was to convince the victims to speak to the police.

In October 2010 the M.E.N. learned about the investigation and when we approached GMP the force asked us to postpone our story until they had spoken to all the alleged victims and re-assure them about the publicity the case would generate. We eventually published a few months later.

Nazir Afzal, the newly-appointed chief crown prosecutor for the north west, reversed the decision not to prosecute the two who had been arrested and eventually authorised the charging of ten men in June 2011. Nine of them were convicted following a trial at Liverpool Crown Court in May, 2012.

AS CLEAR AS DAY NAZIR AFZAL REVERSED STARMERS DECISION AND DECIDED TO PROSECUTE STOP WRITING BULLSHIT

ok riddle me this joker its a fact that Starmer buried the report for nearly a year
its a fact while still head of the department his decisions were overturned and Afzal given the role which he was successful in using the same evidence to prosecute only an incompetent would suffer that fate
its true Lord Ahmed of Rotherham was implicated but his paperwork mysteriously disappeared along with quite a few others up the labour food chain however justice caught up with Ahmed 12 years later and he is now serving 5 and a half years for kiddie fiddling, not all those guilty were prosecuted due to witness and evidence tampering
