To be honest I'd forgotten that Elvis (when age 24) had a 14 year old girlfriend and also about Bill Wyman and his 13 year old. It probably just shows how society was in such thrall to celebrity in those times that such relationships were accepted.
As a youngster at that time I didn't think much of it, but now as an adult and a father it's deeply shocking what was allowed to happen. My boy's 14 and he's just a baby for god's sake.

For my future reference I would like to clarify some rules to make sure I understand them,
1. The title of the thread is arbitrary and bears no relation to reality, especially the last bit
2. Only posts that don't upset Shako and his mates are allowed
3. Posting should not contradict the views of Shako and his mates
4. Posting have to stay on topic of the OP
5. Additional information is not allowed to be brought into a discussion
6. The largest searchable database in the world is only allowed to be used by Shako and his mates
7. Only one religion is allowed to be named in connection with crimes
8. Karaoke singers are not to be offended
9. There is a statute of limitation on sex offences, but only when it suits Shako and his mates
10. Apart from the above you can post what you want, especially if it's insulting somebody Shako and his mates don't like.
I hope my understanding of the rules as they apply to this thread are correct, if they aren't I'm sure somebody will let me know.
