talking to a friend the other day who said he was installing some new software at a local company and he started tang to one of the accountants who he had previously befriended on previous visits to be told one of his colleagues had recently been suspended due to a "complaint" by a work colleague over remarks about lgbtq etc. turns out the complainant had been recording the "conversation" and hence went to management over it, apparently he said it seemed a rather new employee was rather pleased about the suspension because of his "old fashioned views " entrapment in other words. anyway the suspended guy is fighting the suspension with a solicitor......the upshot to me is that the workplace seems to be a minefield these days with anyone taking offense over the slightest perceived slight or differing opinion over literally anything you care to mention be it sexism,trans,diversity,ageism etc etc.....thank fcuk i'm retired and out of the **** show if this is what it's come to....now where's my slippers

i was just pondering about all this panic buying that seems to be the norm from bog rolls to petrol etc the msm only have to start one off and away they go be it panicking over no milkshakes at mackidees to no chicken lickin at kfc or faceache,instacrap etc being down for more than an hour.....it's inconceivable that once we where a nation of stoical endurance and resoluteness from what our grandparents faced from everything hitler could throw at them from the blitz to having to go and fight overseas, people just made the best of the situation from still going to workplaces to just putting on a cuppa char for your neighbours. now it's people fighting over a fill up at petrol stations, hoarding bog rolls as if they have 24 hour ****s,meltdown over missing a selfie on instacrap...it seems society has lost all sense of proportion and moral fibre....it's no use all these signs,plaques etc saying keep calm and carry on that abound when no ****er seems to carry out the message......bring back the sign your country needs you
