You're right about F1 cars, Blono, a relatively small engine that turns out some 400bhp and does 300kms per hour is a VERY efficient machine. Albeit they do use many litres per kilometre.

And if we all stopped breathing out every few seconds, that would help, too.

OLD NEWS I KNOW but he is a hypocrite.

President Michael D Higgins has stood over his decision to decline an invitation to a religious service in Northern Ireland next month on the grounds that it is political in nature and commemorates the “centenary of the partition of Ireland”

IRISH PRESIDENT MICHAEL D Higgins will today become the first Irish head of state to visit reclusive Communist state Cuba.

The president has been on the road for eight days now having taken in Peru and Colombia in South America prior to the Cuban state visit.

The visit is at the invitation of Cuban president Raul Castro, brother of long-time leader Fidel who died aged 90 last November.

The Irish president received a deal of criticism after paying tribute to Castro in the wake of his death.

I'm not religious but isn't this still a Christian country? Do you think this would happen after a Muslim conference?

More than that though I was appalled at the arrest of the street preacher. Why didn't they use the same criterea when you had lunatics blocking traffic on the M25?

    It's crazy

"No one wants to listen to that" said the prick of a copper how does he know?
Did he ask a selection of passers by if he thought that the guy was causing a breach of the peace, how about when hook hands held his frequent rallies with his followers kneeling in the street with coppers meekly standing in attendance, because presumably Christianity is now seen as an easy target, with shall we say less hassle if someone complains....the saying Jesus wept is apt

The teacher who showed the cartoon of the untouchable one and is under police guard due to death threats, has been named on the internet by an Islamic charity who apparently have been "rebuked" for doing so.... that's alright then a good slap on the bum will put them in their place I suppose....where are the teaching union on all this they are quick to mouth off regarding covid safety measures, but they seem to be very quiet on this, how is this possible in 2021 when a teacher has to hide in fear after death threats over a cartoon and lose his livelihood....you couldn't make it up the saying goes but obviously you can...disgrace

    Double standards

England players are encouraged to take the knee at every opportunity, but when it comes to honouring our forefathers who died for this Country by wearing the Poppy (with pride) the Country has to tread very carefully, so not to upset the minority!

England play Albania, the day after Remembrance Day next month. Should they be allowed to wear the Poppy without being fined?

Fcuking disgrace that the word "allowed" should be mentioned, to much pandering to people's feelings nowadays over frig all how about the feelings of our lost service personnel going into horrendous battles so we can have the life we have today, don't they count

There’s no issue with England wearing the poppy on their shirt.
