Dare I say some rather Carroll-esque headers from set pieces there? Looks neat and tidy but can't gather too much from a YouTube vid. Shut up Dennis Wise!

Looks awesome. Good technical ability, great in the air, strong, tall and quick. What more do we need?

From that video he looks ****ing immense!

Great heading ability, very strong and not afraid to try the audacious! I know its only youtube but ****, I would take him in a heartbeat!

I assume he will cover Ba (while he is away getting Senegal to the final to face Tiote's Cote D'Ivoire!)

I like, an agile target man... rarity. Should be second choice to Luuk De Fong.

He's a good finisher no doubt about it. Even his stats are good. But haven't seen him creating many chances for his teammates, flickons, passes etc ... in the video. If he can also play in the supporting role then he's definitely worth a bid. And he seems to be quite physical so I think he'll do well in the PL unlike Chamakh ...

She'd be sent to a nunnery if she she started liking Bieber (after all the effort of getting her into Ray Charles and BB King) but CBeebies is doing my head in. That Justin bloke needs to be terminated...

I'll take him. I know it's only Youtube but from that video he looks quality. Strong heading ability, good finisher, decent pace and movement and good agility for a ''big man'' and surely for 6m you can't go wrong?

It's a case of linking Newcastle with millions of random Frenchmen now like.

To be fair this guy looks quite physical with good height and certainly displayed some good technique for the goals. Obviously we don't know what his all-round play would be like as Youtube could make me as good as Maradona, but if he comes cheap might as well take a punt, he'd also be here for the African Nations unlike Maiga. Would it be greedy to want both?

This. Fringes of the international team too, 25 decent age. Scores a good few cracking headers by the sounds of it and isn't afraid to get stuck in and have a go at goal.

Guessing we'll be getting Maiga and then either this guy, De Jong, etc. I think Pardew or someone did say that we had a good few targets, like 6 or so, lined up.
