Served???? 14 years he was nurtured by the club. A year ago he wants to play for us till his career is over and now he is a Liverpool player. Realises his p*ss poor PR, takes an ad out in the Echo that's about as convincing as one of his dives.. Kiss the badge? Kiss my A**e..

    I feel better now..

Fans wanted a goodbye note and then get annoyed when he posts one. He left when he promised undying love and I despise him for all that badge kissing and lying, but as said, he did a job for years and was part of our promotions. We can't hurt him now, so we only hurt ourselves by not letting go...I'm indifferent now. The best revenge is success.

There is no justification for actual hatred - I'm sure almost all supporters realise that. But I shall be very disappointed indeed if there aren't at least a couple of fairly cruel songs about the little Judas twat when he comes back to St Marys. We'd be failing in our collective duty if we didn't make that a very uncomfortable experience for him.

Black, your being daft now. I disagreed and you made out I needed to chill. Your comment of "I never said" was a bit pathetic really. School ground comment. All I said was that we had a choice. You see one view and I see another. I really can't believe that two days later you pulled that post back up when all I did was say that we had a choice, when you had a pot at people giving Lallana stick. I'm surprised you needed to do that. My post wasn't even aggressive or niggly. Is there a problem I'm unaware of?

By the way, I have met Adam Lallana on three occasions, but that is irrelevant as to how I react to his leaving.

Seriously, let it go whatever it is.

Hahaha you're kidding me, right? It is no more "pathetic" than you feeling the need to tell me that people "have a choice". You think I don't know that?! In fact your initial response was clearly being antagonistic (niggly if you prefer), for little reason that I can see. And now you are just being plain rude. "Daft, pathetic, schoolground" etc, you call me, despite it being me trying to take the mature side in all this being bitchy nonsense. So I asked someone to be more forgiving, what is your problem with that? In fact, what on earth has it got to do with you? If it's not aimed at you, then don't concern yourself.

You started this little niggle mate, so don't be the one to tell me to "let it go". Unbelievable.

And I'm sorry if I don't respond straight away, but I don't live on Not 606 twenty-four hours a day, plus my time zone is a little different from yours.

...and (sorry to go on), part of the reason I told you to initially "chill out", was because you responded to another thing I had written (which, by the way, you took completely out of context), by writing; "NO, NO, and NO again. Just NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Apologies if I took that as being a response by someone who was significantly not chilled out.

Let's test that theory. Liverpool have just made a 30 million pound bid for Paolo Gazzaniga. Do you accept?

Hey black, fair enough. I thought that one was obviously tongue in cheek, as in "don't take me dream away, that football is just a job"... I genuinely was just making the point there that football can't be just a job for the millions of us who would have given anything to do that for a living.

As I said, you are actually right there though, as for a lot (not all) of players, it is just a job. The keeper Stuart Taylor, just signed for Leeds is in his 14th season and has only played 90 games! I have met a few players who just shrug their shoulders and say they're not just into football.

    Breaks my heart that. :)

I tried to post the following (below) not long after my earlier rant, but my **** computer (it's chinese-manufactured) cocked-up. Anyway just to let you know that I realise I was being silly... here it is word for word...

"Right anyway (if you're not FLT, turn away now!!), final say on the matter. I've taken my entire prescription of chill pills, and I'm feeling human again. I'll admit the whole affair has rubbed me up the wrong way, mainly because I feel people don't know the whole truth and never will. Anyway therefore I was probably a little too rash trying to defend you-know-who. Apologies for this FLT. Where I am right now it's beer o'clock, so have a proverbial bevvy of your choice on me." <bubbly>
