If you really mean spoil tips from mining then there are a few but far more in the adjacent counties.....Staffs, Yorks, Notts and Lancs. Your time in Devon has robbed you of a sense of industrial heritage! Shropshire has a lot of spoil tips but is still a beautiful county!
