Come and look around, for a large county it is very diverse. Do you know what a slag heap is?......well there are few or none here. Slag is a by-product of smelting. If you really mean spoil tips from mining then there are a few but far more in the adjacent counties.....Staffs, Yorks, Notts and Lancs.

Your time in Devon has robbed you of a sense of industrial heritage! Shropshire has a lot of spoil tips but is still a beautiful county!
