Thank God for that, sounds like shocking ref but great rear guard action...well done lads, it's hard to win against Oldham, well done lads, up the addicks!
****ing brillinat - what a 3 points !. Beat Walsall on Monday and we'll be there ! This is the game that makes our statement - what a fantatstic win. Especially when we are playing against 12 men again. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Happpy !!!!!!!!!!!1
Massive, massive, massive 3 points. Team for Monday will be interesting! Maybe Hollands red will be appealed so he can play. We seriously need to do something about the referees though I know not what. Those two Numpties last week and today could easily have cost us dear. We have suspensions to cope with and it could have been so much worse. I'm guessing BWP Jackson and Green will all be back if fit with Pritchard too probably.
Jimbob , it wasnt a massive, massive, massive win - it was a huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, huge win !!!!! It will be the win that will be the difference at end of season. The win that shows that we can grind it out (not that we didnt know that) - we need a good win (3 or 4 goals v Warsaw on Monday and then we can not worry about goal diff)
Took my Mum out during the first half and I'm on my Dad's dodgy wireless broadband which has been going down more often than Monica Lewinsky this afternoon. Can't believe we won at Oldham... Ye gods - fourteen away wins. With these suspensions, we'll see the benefit now of having a decent sized squad. Good battling win for Walsall today should see them in good spirits for Monday - can hardly wait for this game.
Two more points gained than I had expected, so my forecast is now 97 points. Only downside is the lads will be very tired and bruised for Monday. Do the reds for Holland and Wagstaff kick in on Monday (I assume so)? Wagstaff missing for one match should be no great problem. We could have done with Russell now that Hollands is out for three. I hope Hughes is fit. He played against Dartford, so I presume he is.
Only downside is that we now have Russell,Waggy and Hollands out for a few games - prob for most of the run-in. Means that Green will come back and we are seriously short in midfield.
You got your wish to have our three centre-backs on the field at the same time. Not sure if Taylor was playing "midfield" though. By the end it sounded like playground football with very little shape on either side. I look forward to hearing from those who travelled to the Northern wastelands.
I don't think this is as big a problem as people think. My views on Waggy versus Green are well enough known already. Hollands has not been playing well or dovetailing with Stephens so CP will be forced to make a change that we've all been asking for anyway. And JJ is fit again. So it's all to the good as far as I'm concerned. I'd play Hughes, JJ, Stephens and green with kermit (if he's not knackered)and bWP. Hayes in if Kermit is crocked. N'guessan in the bench. Job done.
