Can never bring myself to ever wear colours to a game, never have. The only thing I have is my no to hull tigers badge
...just a man in grey, just a man at C&A...
I had that one when I was a kid. It got washed so much that the Bonus stick on peeled away and it is now completely sponserless, as well as being only big enough to now serve as a boob tube for an adult.
The earliest one I've had that still fits is the 2007 one, I could maybe squeeze into the 1998 one with a push but it'd be more like a straight jacket/boob tube and I'm sure not a look people would appreciate.
Agreed, we've been moaning about this for the last few years. Adidas are the worst for it. We've got someone else next year. I'm not sure who but I know Adidas came back to us with a better offer than the existing one and said they'd get their act together but we still went with someone else. Think my dad wore his on the Saturday around London. That's four of you. Looking at some of the old ones that were about we've had some right shockers. The Don Robinson era ones with red in are just weird. The Hull uni one with white stripes, wtf? We had some good classic ones decades ago and we've more or less gone back to that original stripey design in recent years (albeit with sponsors etc on top) but in between, around the 80s and 90s, there were some properly crazy designs.
This was a phase when a load of clubs had whacked-out trippy kits. I blame the acid house and rave culture of the time.
Never worn a relica shirt in my life but, I like the Carter shirts 1948 season. Amber shirt with a button collar and just a roaring Tigers head as the crest. No sponsor, no writing. This is a classy shirt. Anyone know where you get them from ?
