I'm not Guy. Their goalie was pretty poor (apart from one good save) and we didn't put him under enough pressure. Notts C had a couple of decent players who gave us too much trouble. If they had kept 11 men on the pitch we would have lost for sure.
What's going on there Greeny? How many teams have gone top and then hit a bad patch? Northampton should hit a bad patch soon.
It's all down to the Algae apparently Ron. When managers talk about bad patches I don't expect it to include patches of green stuff on the pitch that isn't grass. We have reverted to being crap once more and although there are numerous injuries, that doesn't excuse the way the 11 on the pitch have layed down and rolled over. To be fair I was a bit surprised at our start to the season but began to believe it wasn't a fluke or anything until we hit this patch. Northampton should be out of business in reality. Don't wish it on any team but how their Council can justify the disappearance of £10.5m of public money I fail to see. That and no punishment for financial mismanagement as a number of other clubs have had to endure. Kind of makes me a bit on the jealous side after the crap we went through.
