Just looked him up..That Tucker bloke seemed a ****ing loon.. Where did Carlton Leech fit into all this?
Don't think you'd want to cross any of them. I used to know a lot of the Wolverhampton nut jobs, they all had the upmost respect for O'Mahoney, as in they all liked to say they knew him and was the one bloke they wouldn't dare upset.
Then we have nutters who throw the cops of the scent, like the wacko from my way, who pretended to be the yorkshire ripper...Even my dad got interviewed, they just did block calls....This delay cost a few more lives i believe.... Then he was caught by a false number plate ffs.
My neighbour worked on the 2003 new years eve murders in Brum, he said the wall of silence was unbelievable, never known anything like it, the fear in everyone they interviewed, they even had cctv of a potential witness coming out of the venue, when they showed him the footage he just sat there and denied it was him, lots of stuff like that. He said he fully understood the fear but he said what was even more frustrating was the false anonymous information they were fed.
Back when i was a solicitor in Liverpool (2007-09) we had a number of clients in Croxteth and the silence was almost palpable when authorities start putting their nose in. They viewed the police (and all government bodies) as outsiders, they had a form of justice they wanted to administer themselves and often get incorrectly portrayed as immoral - they simply didn't trust others to do the job right. It came to a point when Rhys Jones was shot. In the local area there were many people who knew who the culprits were and shielded them from police interference as they were local lads. In truth had it not been for their eventual successful prosecutions they'd probably be dead by now themselves.
