A friend of mine has got a load of old programmes (about 150 of them), mainly from the late 1990s through to the 2000s that she wants rid of by this weekend.

Anybody interested?

I can not see the point of programmes today.
In the past they were a good source of info but now with the web etc they are out of date once printed.
Don't get me wrong I have boxes of them from 60 & 70's.Football Rugby and Cricket.
The staples always go rusty!
They will eventually all be turfed out similar to the lady above.

As a case in point my grandad went to the first ever City match at the Boulevard in 1904 against Notts County in a friendly.
The programme included the team colours for both teams and I last read it here in Aus in the early 70's when my eldest cousin had it. My memory was that it said City played in White shirts.
Up until a few years ago a Kit history for the Tigers showed 1904 as white shirts but a detailed investigation into archival records made a water tight case for them playing in black and amber for their first game.
If any programme for that match could have been located it would have settled the matter long ago.

Wonder if one is still around and what it would be worth?

Don't think City issued a prog back then

If your family has summat from the very first game- get it insured!

Looks like the Blue bin although I'd be inclined to give Dove House a shot at them first.

If our museum of Hull City football/culture was open instead of just being talked about you could have donated them there. Imagine if someone had thought of having a shop somewhere in the town or even at the stadium god forbid which sold Hull City related stuff ? You could have taken them there even. Shame. Lost opportunity, lost memories, and a total disregard to our heritage.
