Isak will train today says Slot........Alisson will return for Notts Forest game after Int. break.

Frimpong not far away.

Should be fun.

Isak might as well be on the bench as a kid we won't use anyway.

The main concern for me is if they can raise themselves to play at the level to compete with city as they have used the 3 games in a weel excuse already this season.

Same team again or gakpo at lw. Dpes it really matter?

What matters for me is following the same.game plan and not letting players Luke foden run wild.

This discussion could also be applied to bradley.

Yeah he did his job. Relax about it, he just did his job as a defender, not put in a worldie up and down the line etc etc.

Yeah vini jnr could be a handful if hes not rolling about and diving but in reality they team as a whole were mostly disciplined and held good shape so he was actually well supported and vini jnr was double teamed.

They hardly got a 2 on 1 situation. Gravenberch made sure of that.

Macallister discipline to actually stay v real made all the difference imo.

Bradley did his job. Atta boy.

Same for courtois. Did his job.

Same defence - am assuming that Bradley is ok as haven’t seen the commentary. (change after 60m if absolutely necessary)

same midfield. Do not start our best player this year at RB

same front line. Keep Wirtz on the left…..again, change if necessary after 60m

Yet again you're being condescending towards others, and creating a strawman argument so you can bring it down.
As far as I can see, nobody has got over-excited about the performances of either player. Simply saying who were the standout players in a game and admiring their performance is not going over the top.
I don't understand the need to repeatedly put a damper on things.

I don't know saint, it's really making me rethink my take on the game. All those great shots on target were nothing special because they were too easy to save. As for Bradley, winning 100% of his tackles, 8 one on ones, stopping Vini getting a single shot off and causing him to lose the ball 19 times was just a routine RB performance.

Im not. Im talking in general.

The amount if tiky tocky and twatter stuff about bradley doing hai job has been amazing.

When you say nobody are you talking about the less than 10 people on here or in your own circle of discussions?

Just so I know before deciding if I should insult you back ;)

Nah mate. Once its at you then you can get hands up. Its surprisingly easy compared to having to react and move.

Vvds was higher so hands go up and he gets it.

The macallister one has gone right through him, as his hands have gone up too high.

The Ekitike header for example. Again high and at him and he makes a Hollywood effort of a save

The gakpo one hes just shuffling across and ball hits him more than being an actual save..just routine positioning by a good keeper.

Even the first free kick take by Szoboszlai was a nice hit but fairly central and he hollywooded that too. Pretty routine stop imo.

Just cos we see rubbish at times with keepers making mistakes or having weak wrists doesn't mean we need to fall for the absolute orgasmic approach of some commentators.

All i need do is compare this to alissoj v psg and go. Nah 7/10.

It wasn’t at him. It was above him from point blank range. He’d have to react in a split second get his hands up and into the right position to make any contact. If he saved it would have been a brilliant save.

Not a chance in hell anyone is blaming the keeper for that goal.

I don’t think when anyone is commentating about the game here and talking about opinions they are doing anything other than talking about people on here.

Maybe this is where we are all getting confused with your comments. When you are talking about ‘people’ Saying things, are you talking about random people on twitter etc? If so that makes so much more sense as you often say things which haven’t been said here but I can imagine have been said online on other places like that where you get 12 year olds making stupid comments.

Sorry/not sorry to be harsh but most of what @moreinjuredthanowen is utter nonsense. A lot of what Courtois makes look easy is because he's intelligent and makes the right decision and is in the right place. It's not by accident or by luck. Same with Bradley, to suggest he "did his job" is ridiculous. He's playing against top class opposition and got his distancing spot on, great aggression but controlled and a threat going forward, he couldn't do much more.

Always good to see a team that did their job being given the nod to go again.

Both gakpo and kerkez struggled recently and their replacements did well.
