Kerkez main ability in the seasons I’ve seen him is overlapping and crossing the ball. I’m not sure I’ve seen him do it once this season - must be an instruction but he seems to always make first run inside and then if he does cut back out and overlap then he never gets the ball fed in, instead gakpo usually cutting in and crossing or shooting.

Now the ref pulls it back for absolutely nothing. Didn’t need to give the free kick but since he did, Mac takes it to get Salah in quickly and ref decides that would upset the home fans so pulls it back to allow them to get back
