A real fan would have kidnapped the bus driver, stolen his uniform and driven the team to Anfield.
 
Team as expected - did wonder if Robertson may start just for game 1 experience and it’s against Kerkez old team etc but Slot has set the tone there.

Bench doesn’t look great - lots of solid squad players but not many game changers - shouldn’t need to be relying on a 17 year old so does show why Slot is after at least 1 more if not 2 forwards.
 
Its basically everyone fit bar gravenberch has a suspension and Bradley is still injured (and toast imo, slot wont put up with this)

The reality is chiesa.is our only forward option if we play 4231.

Loads of bench options in the back areas.

Still think it's a shame we let Nunez go, he was always a good option off the bench to run the oppo defence ragged.
Oh well, maybe Chiesa will be this year's surprise package. :)

Hopefully Mac playing as the 6 eases the burden a bit on Szoboszlai in midfield.

They're gonna need to work out how to manage the gaps left by Frimpong and Kerkez as Bournemouth are good on the counter - its only really their back line that has changed.

Don’t think could reject the money on offer and he probably didn’t fancy another season on the bench anyway as Slot was never starting him.

All aboard the Ngumoha train anyway

Would hope that bit more cautious that not sending them both flying forward at same time - don’t really need to have them both high and wide.

Id hope if one is beyond the winger, the other is in a more wing back position where can support but also no a huge gap. Means that Mac only has 1 side to cover at a time in theory

Now finish by imagining Elliott sold and rodrgyo there.

now that looks a lot better with 2 injuries back and signing of Isak. Leaves players like Elliott tsimikas Endo Chiesa out of the squad.
