I thought the rule was that the attacker is not allowed to stop in the run up. Eze stopped mid run. Goalkeepers are picked up for being off there line nothing is ever done about attackers stopping mid run up.

Don’t think that’s a thing. You’re not allowed to take a shot so go to take one then stop to let the keeper move and then hit it.
You can do whatever you want in your run up though
well my worries for this season seem justified right now
Yeah, we had a dominant start, gave away a crap pen, scored a fluke goal, but we should have gone in more than one goal up. Started off the second half well and should have got another, but when Szobbo ran out of steam, I thought Palace took total control of the game and deserved their equaliser, and probably deserved to get a winner. Pleased with the palindrome, but Mo and Gakpo were meh. Wirtz was chalk and cheese in both halves, MacAllister came on and stank, and so did Endo. Virgil worried me on several levels, but whilst the two full backs were impressive, Kerkez has a tendency to play people on. and that needs to be addressed.
The pens were woeful, but credit to Henderson for that, especially the Macca save, as that wasn't a bad pen (Mo's and Elliot's were). oh, and let's hope the plan is not to use Jones as a DM against Bournemouth.
worrying how weak we look both physically and fitness wise .
I think Slot has ****ed around too much in the friendlies, playing random teams. Needed to build up relationships and as well as fitness.
Why didn't Grav and Mac start today? Today should have been the last game before the opener where the 1st XI played today for the majority of the game.

We currently will get out fought and I think a lot of draws are on the cards
Hence my 5th place prediction - defo not winning the CL
But the football will be entertaining I think

Something will need to jolt us to get us going again
this won’t be it because too many see it rightly or wrongly as a friendly

in fact most will be in agreement with what you have written

Seriously jones wasn't that arsed today. He prodded it about got good over by tnt for 53 passes thst went nowhere but he never tracked a run as per usual.
As for Elliott. If we get 50mil for thst guy I'll laugh. The called it before the shoot out. No way he should be within 50 miles of anything that needs bottle.
Hopefully Elliott is next out the door with tsimiaks as we go buy that cb and cm amd winger I've been whinging about.
How salah stayed on today I dont know. He was anonymous first half and gsve about 10mins second. He was a passenger.
The reality check is palace are not going to be top 8 this year. They are the most mid tbsle side going. They do nothing for large tracks of the season and usually finish strong and get a few points to finish around 12th.
I dont see them pulling a forest here. I like a lot of their players but I dont see it.
We just got dominated for large parts.
