Michael Salisbury has been removed as the video assistant referee for Liverpool and Arsenal's clash at Anfield. Salisbury was the VAR for Chelsea's controversial 2-0 win at home to Fulham on Saturday and controversially disallowed visiting midfielder Josh King's goal.
The PGMOL have since acknowledged that it was an incorrect VAR intervention. John Brooks has been chosen to replace Salisbury on lead VAR duties on Merseyside.

 

Bradley and Gomez not fit to do 90 mins yet and Szobo was very good on Monday. Hopefully it works.

Salisbury didn't disallow it he just suggested decision was wrong and despite clearly not convinced the gutless ref changed his decision
