He is suggesting that all of a sudden they have no relationship. That’s amateur hour imo, what will that achieve?
We just have to face facts...it's impossible to replace an iconic manager... All the teams that had one went through the same thing... We just have to hope it doesn't take as long as last time with us or with a few of the others.
I guess he’s sensing that Slot is weak and he laying into him. They can both **** off as far as I’m concerned
well thats really helped though not sure the rant was aimed at Slot or more possibly above him who want to try and get some money in and his wages off the books
Difference... We were all around for Gerrard looking at Torres in disbelief when benetiz subbed... We knew what it meant. Players now... Talk when it's good, hide when it's bad... And talk and talk... Novel idea... Play the match... Command the match... As it's going... Then fight with manager privately as to why you were right .. even yank QBs have the spine for that.
Such an odd one. I’ve no idea who is right or wrong here. From Slot perspective, Salah been in poor form, right back been a problem and Salah there is offering less protection. Add in he’s going for a month can see why may bench him to prepare for that period. However, to not bring him on is bold and drop for all 3? Is Slot thinking long term, that he needs to build to this around Wirtz Ekitike Isak over the next 2/3 years because Salah won’t be here? On other hand, Salah is top 5 lfc players of all time, on back of securely his greatest season in his career and suddenly created a team that isn’t getting even 50% of the best from him while also being awful. It seems that relationship has broken down. Should Salah be saying that and putting pressure on right now just before he goes to leave? Not ideal, but I guess Salah wants to stay at the club and if it’s him or Slot, Salah is throwing slot under the bus.
I'm still in the camp where a competent manager gets a tune out of this squad and that so called senior players who are past it will not look past it with the right manager. I'm not a fan of Salah doing this but maybe it shows the inner workings are not right and that it is the final nail in the coffin of this managerial group. We've always been an emotional club, even when the quality isn't there we can compete but right now we are not competing regardless off the quality and the manager is devoid of any real passion.
That's it... We are a passionate club. Some didn't like Rafa because of that... We definitely didn't like hodgeson because of it. I understand the thinking of going with Slot ..almost the mirror opposite of Klopps... He wasn't going to be a wannabe... And I do think his influence of added patience won us the league with a team Klopp didn't. I just don't see his plan for the team... At times I think it's that slow, asphyxiate the opposition... But his selections of what is available isn't right. Long ball .. his selection isn't right. He isn't doing the Klopp high press. We don't know...the players don't seem to know. I just said to my manc mate... Didn't rate Van G but at least you knew ...as I'll conceived as it was...what he wanted... I can't say that at mo with us

Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with Salahs comments what it shows is a dressing room that is not happy or cohesive and to be openly criticising the manager. Did we ever get that under Klopp, even when things weren’t going great, like the season after we won and somehow managed to get 4th?
