Can't help thinking those jumping on Slot having been waiting fifteen months for their opportunity to do so. Not the big name signing they wanted... #whatleaguetitle #youllalwayswalkalone #nottheliverpoolway
I get that side of the argument but just feel that the coaching staff are where the problem lies and with the correct instructions we'd have a great season again with Salah getting a good goal haul and VVD looking like he could play on and the likes of Wirtz showing that there's a future. I believe that Slot and staff are not of the highest calibre and that you can see that on the pitch and that we have bought well and need to have a quick reality check before this gets away from us. We should be like City when we were chasing them (with a lot of success) with Arsenal chasing us, multiple leagues and other trophies with the base we have and the players bought in. Who is the question? Would Klopp come back is an obvious route but I didn't think he would.
It's not done easily or with any joy, I want him to succeed as much as any Liverpool fan but I'm not seeing the skills needed for this level.
Nope. Well not me. Happy he came, up and coming new coach. Happy he adopted the strategy he did last year. On Paper the buys this summer looked good. I didn't remotely think we'd retain title this year as it was the actual transition year. But this is an undeniable mess.
