no studs that was posh, I had leather bars on mine.just saying.

 

Nail in studs (forced to play rugby at school ) were just being fazed out for football and the moulded plastic one-piece sole/stud became the everyday choice for those with less wealthy parents.

Then I watched a boy's club team mate screwing individual studs into his boots with a spanner - I thought he was someone from Star Trek..........
