Exactly this.

In our match against Milan Gattuso was doing his utmost to wind our players up by having the occasional kick-out/comment - especially on Crouchie, but we didn't rise to it which incensed him even more.

I realise the Old Firm is a world away from that but surely foreigners don't really understand the rivalry between the two sides?

And that stops any other player having a shot! Diouf is a striker/attacker is he not!

Very true, but I'm sort of glad that they don't. There's nothing like a good stramash in the technical area, I feel, and it would take a joyless heart of stone not to enjoy the sight of all these guys in their puffy dug-out coats going at it. Can't help loving that stuff.

In fact, the whole game was brilliant, utterly compelling - with just the right levels of menace and violence simmering beneath (and above) the surface.

“Last night’s actions – which culminated in three red cards and 13 cautions in total – also re-emphasised the ongoing lack of respect for our match officials. It was a source of comfort that at least one person retained his composure amid last night’s chaos. Only a matter of months after our referees withdrew their labour, we had to witness the match official, Calum Murray, being manhandled, while another player who had been dismissed brazenly walked to his own supporters in defiance. It is a tribute to his professionalism that Calum and his team kept calm.

    Dev

Referee being manhandled, Rangers manager questionning his decisions, player (Diouf) verbally abusing him.

Surely must be time for another strike?

No not really we usually don't talk much football, I guess everyone is still a bit worked up after last night and defending their own corner. It will be all forgotten once someone post a picture half naked teenage lassie with impressive breasts.

If they don't then it must prove that they are all Pro Rangers?

The predictable paranoia from some of the Gers fans has already began, some are complaining that Murray gave us everything because refs are SCARED of Celtic. <laugh>

In spite of your sarcasm, let me explain why:

Whittaker was a bit unlucky with the first yellow but having been booked he then lunged in on a Celtic player a few minutes later. It was his stupidity that got him sent off.

Bougherra was lucky to avoid a red card for a bad challenge on Hooper but, having been booked, was booked yet again for a dangerous tackle on Commons.

Diouf was red carded for using foul and abusive langauge towards the referee.

    Simple enough?
