However, if we can win a few and stop this drawing as many we may still be able to get promotion

Agreed it's better to win some and lose some while having a go than the conservative approach Ross used which worked reasonably well but didn't quite get enough points for promotion.

I think it's what we all want to see and if the club gets the fans back onside we could go on a roll.

I hope things pick up I can't be arsed with all the knee jerk reactions to losing on here, it's too long a season to swing about wildly emotionally.

Yeh I’m not happy with loosing but let’s win more instead of drawing
I think I’ll feel better later

Not be 20,000 turning up before long i am afraid, i dreaded this happening mid table crap. Now we have 3 out of the last 4 owners the worst in our history.

I reckon PP has more work to do with mentality of the squad than anything else.
The mindset just seems all wrong and has been since the early days of ross.
Ross appears to have had some form of mania for not losing ( understandable ) and keeping a clean sheet ( understandable but empty words in his case .
Stats yesterday seemed to show we had a lot of attacking intent, and shots on target in one game would be unheard of in rossball.
But we switched off for some reason and they scored.
We seem to lack someone who leads by example, who keeps talking and cajoling and ensuring players remain focussed.
A Catts type or dare I say it..a roy keane type.
PP is no fool. He will bring 1 or 2 players who know what he wants and expects out on the pitch.
Following the tranmere game was always going to mt Everest. 5 goals and a clean sheet!!!
We hit the woodwork 3 times and had 16 attempts on goal. It seems that after 3 games PP is tuned in to what fans want and what the team needs to do.

To me it's the performance again totally bereft of any style of passing & basic retention

Ok we hit the woodwork 3 times & mcgeady & grigg should've buried their chances

But to me the overall performance was utter ****e

We have to move on though, next game is always the important one and should get us 3 points. If not stand by for more knee jerks, its part of the fun. OaU

I only watched the highlights but where are you getting that from? To me a bad defeat is one where the team doesn't show fight or evidence they can get back in to winning ways. I saw plenty of fight and Sunderland could easily have got a result. Away from home although it's not the result I'd like I don't see the performance as a tragedy. It's all about what happens next though.
