Agreed that they have exceed all expectations, but I'm still incredibly dissapointed that after leading for so long we threw away the title and keep letting west ham back in it. I really cant see WH losing monday and thats what worries me. On paper cov at home is nice and easy- but saints really dont seem to do well under pressure this season

Not sure that's fair Lincoln they dominated against Reading and had the chances to win last night and then had a poor refs decision. They have shown they can handle pressure. Just need 32000 people roaring them home!

But thats what i mean about not handling pressure. If they dominate against Reading, and still dont win then that is not handling it surely? We can rue poor refereeing all we want, I just think thats a poor excuse for not putting the big games to bed so to speak

Why are we in dreamland ? We have a good side , better than most and fir most of the season we have been proving that , of course I am happy where we are but we are making a very hard job of what should of been pretty easy from what has been achieved .

Getting promoted ain't easy. You miss my point. When I say we are in dreamland, I mean could you have imagined needing only to beat a relegated team at home to guarantee promotion?

I hope the players don't think that it is just coventry and they have nothing to play for so we just need to turn up and take our prize. I am sure NA won't allow this but looking at the ematch last night we didn't really attack until we went 1-1. I hope the players didn't think it was job done at 1-0. Hopefully NA tore into them for sitting back last night. On paper we should beat Coventry easily but its not played on paper. We should have beaten Pompey, City and Doncaster away on paper.

We will do this but it wouldn't suprise me to see Coventry go one up just to really get the nerves jangling.

I am sitting on the fence, don't want to say we will smash them 4-0 or i'll get the pessamists on my back but don't want to be too down beat as i'll get it from the opptimists instead.

You're like a spoilt kid. You were the same after the Reading game yet changed your tune very quickly after we beat Peterborough.

You clearly don't take setbacks very well, do you?

No I dont. Whats the problem with what i posted? Did we throw away the title?-yes
Do we keep letting WH back in the running for auto's?-yes. So what exactly is wrong with my post?

You've been in the top 2 all season and are up against a team already relegated who have been beaten by the worst team in the league, Doncaster.

At home if you play like you have for the majority of the season and get a couple of pens like you did at the den  this game should be as straightforward as they come. <ok>

If however you conspire to **** it up and let West ham back into 2nd I will never forgive you!!! <laugh>

Lincoln you are fully entitled to your opinion. Fact is over this season we have been pipped by Reading but are 5 points clear of west Ham. All the pressure is now on them not us!

Well the amount of personal abuse I've had on here from some would suggest otherwise!

Coventry have been relagated and will want to go out with a bang so saints had better make sure they win, cant see them winning the playoffs!
If we are still in the championship next year we wont have such a good season, because teams have sussed out our style of play and stop the free flowing football,So Saints hammer Coventry Saturday we wont get a better chance.

****ing hate it when people say "they're relegated so they will play with freedom and will be dangerous". At the end of the day Coventry are **** and have been for years, we will beat them.

Blimey, I agree with On The Bus!

Perfect game, we will go up.

First time for everything FLT. Champers still on ice or did you drink it anyway to drown the disappointing night!

If you could have taken a win at home against an already relegated club to seal promotion on the last day of the season you would have snatched their hand off. This squad have done us proud! Whatever the Hammers do a win in our last game and we are up!

We can and will do this

COYR!!

Well said :-)
