    As a good Chester lad Chunky I know Stanley and Tanfield well. Used to drink up the Hunt on a Sunday night (20 years ago) and Parkers when it forst opened - only night club with a fish and chip shop in the middle of it. Saw the best pub fiight ever in the Hunt one Sunday night, with about 30 people battling at one point. It was like a hollywood film set. There used to be a wifey bouncer on the door I remember and she scared the ****ing life out of me. Lol.

    Also used to get in the Hill Top now and again as well on a Sunday in my youth.

    Stanley has gone back a tad since then mind along with a lot of towns and villages I suppose.
    As for the debt, there sure is a **** load of that about mate. Lol

    Chapz, it was all banter marra & you lads were very good with her. Hats off to them.
    Ahhh, the Hunt, next to the dogs. Brings back memories that like. The place burned down.

    It was always good for a scrap weather you wanted one or not. Had a few in there myself.

    The Hill Top thinks of itself as some upmarket place now but is still a **** hole & I aint paying £3. 60 a pint to drink in there when I can go to the club & get one for £2.16.

    I bet you used to come up here for a swim as well Cest. We were one of the 1st small Co. Durham towns to have a public pool.

    Happy days.
