So by Jewell's reckoning if we only let in 73 goals and finish 14th that will be the progress he is looking for!

Time for Jewell to **** off back to the comfy sofa at Sky! I can see a last minute mad rush for season tickets based on what this clueless idiot has come out with! <grr>

    <ok> Very much agree Weighty

There is absolutely no incentive now for next season! ptc, Tractorbhoy et al may be very happy with this Jewell clown but after making statements like this I am sure that even they will be embarassed!

Could be just trying to take a little pressure off after being named dark horse's last season but the timing could of been better, i'm looking for a strong pre season to invoke some excitement i'm not gonna call for his head just yet.

Particularly ridiculous thing to come out with (even if the interview was yesterday) when it's clear for everyone to see that BELIEF is how you beat the best team in the world at their place. Last night Chelsea proved that by believing in yourselves and fighting for every last ball as a unit you can get the prize.

Paul Jewell will never, ever get us promoted with this attitude.

He's also spouted some more nonsense about having signed Bowyer and everyone just because they were available and this season he needs to be patient and bring in players he wants. We have improved our scouting network so we will have more players 'to choose from' <laugh>

Being serious though, I have never known any manager to write of your chances for next season before the one before has even finished!

This really smacks of Clogg saying to PJ "lets try to lower expectations paul, say this"

That’s it draw me into this……..I am still holding out hope that Evan’s can see that jewell is not the man for us and gives him his cards. I also hold out hope that Clegg will be gone once the Olympic events are all wrapped up.

On the subject of season tickets, I sent my renewal in a week before early bird cut off, I still have not been told by the club if my seat move has been successful….This club is crap it can’t even manage to sort a simple seat move out properly..! (Before anyone asks they were non allocated seats this season)

FFS… you got me going now JWM…I requested that my 4 season tickets be moved from Sir Alf to Sir Bobby for the last game of the season, **** me you would have thought I had asked them for the world, the ticket office would not do this for me as it was not policy, WHAT..! I don’t give a stuff about policy I am a season ticket holder wanting to renew well over a £1,000s worth of season tickets next season & you won’t move me for the last game of the season…… Oh but yes they will so long as I purchased additional tickets for that game, I then asked if I decided to not renew my season tickets on the back of this would that be an issue for them, they turned around and said I could do what I liked…..!

I think that pretty much sums up how the club views it’s fans at this time….<grr>

I hope you feel better now Hoppers! Mate.... I agree with everything you say, the club don't give a crap about its loyal supporters! As you know I have not renewed for next season and I won't bother until these tossers are driven out of our club!

Just spoke to my Bro to see if he has renewed and he said 'Have i ****' Things are not looking good, seems like quite a few are refusing to renew. The reason my bro gave was because the football wasn't great, he had lost faith in a certain CEO/manager and finally because he said it is better to pick and choose games and get the odd cheap game unlike season ticket holders!! Yet another well thought out scheme from Clegg, reward part time supporters but season ticket holders get nothing, over to you hoppers.....

Problem is it's a drug isn't it, I could not sit at home listening in on the wireless when Town are playing at home.
I love the whole match day experience,my boy plays footie for Brantham in the morning, back home for a SS&S then down to Rileys for a pint or two before the game (although the customer srervice at Rileys is going down the pan)...nip across the road at 2.50pm.....get to my seat just in time for K/O.
I just wish I was not going home in the evening pissed off as often as I am...!
