I'm not. I'm saying he's part of the problem and part of the cause. We seem to be stuck in the past and Ball is obviously part of our part. Without any disrespect, he's never won a thing in his life and has been involved in relegations as both a player and manager of the club. That's possibly irrelevant but it seems that he's one of 'the comfort club' judging by the way some players seemed to be demanding his appointment as boss.
You couldn't be more wrong about what this thread is about. Jesus, why do visiting fans think everything is about them?
Or perhaps you should take more care to understand what I'm saying. Let's just pretend I said 'Everton' instead of Swansea eh?
Ball is a very small cog at this club and theh fact he has not been disposed of by previous regimes sort of underpins that he is merely an employee in charge of the youth team rather than someone who shapes and controls the club at the sharp end on a match day. Perhaps as we have always played on green grass we neeld to change the colour - do they do blue grass? Getting rid of Ball would be a non footballing reason - your treating him like a jonah, reminds me of this joke:- Her husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several months yet she stayed by his bedside every single day. When he came to, he motioned for her to come nearer. As she sat by him, he said, "You know what? You have been with me all through the bad times. When I got fired, you were there to support me. When my business fell, you were there. When I got shot, you were by my side. When we lost the house, you gave me support. When my health started failing, you were still by my side. Well, now that I think about it, I think you're a jinx!
Schwerer Gustav Ball is a very small cog at this club and he is merely an employee in charge of the youth team rather than someone who shapes and controls the club at the sharp end on a match day. Perhaps as we have always played on green grass we neeld to change the colour - do they do blue grass? Getting rid of Ball would be a non footballing reason - your treating him like a jonah. I understand what you're saying but the way the players were calling for him to be manager suggests he's more than a tiny insignificant youth team cog. As is the fact he's managed the club twice and applied for the job who knows how many times. I didn't say he 'shapes and controls the club at the sharp end on a match day' at all. I never implied anything of the sort. I said he's part of the Brit-clique that, I believe, is holding the club back in a culture of 'all lads together'.
I did not mean to put words in your mouth - that was not my intention merely my own observations. I understand and can appreciate your comments just don't agree with you on this occasion as getting rid of him would set our youth team back - and him and Ged McNamara do a canny job not great but have had some success down the years.
If we have to eliminate all the possibilities for our present problems have you asked yourself if Samson and Delilah are pulling their weight? Mascots should bring good fortune surely. Perhaps they have and we would really be in trouble without them!
I'm saying Ball is part of a culture that's holding the club back. If you think that's impossible then fair enough.
If you ask me things have got tits up since Delilah came on the scene. Don't remember the bitch being around when we finished back to back 7th
Does anyone else think it a bit ironic that Sunderland are top of the Under 21 Ppremier League and the only game they lost was when Ball wasn't in charge? Yeah, he must be terrible.
