I thin you misunderstand my point, I'm not saying that these players aren't good players who would get into the team on merit, but you have to take more into account than pure footballing ability. I just don't think filling a squad with players coming right off the back off a relegation season works, I may be wrong but I've never seen it work. It's nothing against any INDIVIDUAL player, but when you grab a few of them and put them all together I just don't think it works psychologically.

And I have to say, I doubt ANY of you would have took Colla, Enrique or Nolan after their first season with us

Not quite that bad. However, I do believe that the likes of Steve Cram and others from Jarrow and the surrounding Newcastle area should fck off and support Newcastle and stop pretending to be mackems.
