O'Hara?

Just want to know peoples thoughts on this, i mean he's looking to be away from spurs. I can rememebr couple seasons ago when we played them down there and he was immense. I know we've been looking and debating on the whole N'Zogbia thing etc but i reckon he would slot in well with what we've got and offer a little extra creativity!!

Also would like to know what people think of Arda Turan, young turish messi, noticed him a few season ago and he is the dogs.... would take the prem by storm

I always thought O'Hara was pretty decent but he was the type of player we should have been looking at a couple of seasons back, not sure he is the right choice to take us to the next level, would probably end up being no more than a squad player. Anyway, isn't his missus Danielle Lloyd? No way will she leave the paparazzi ridden capital and move up here!

Don't know a huge amount about Turan, but you don't get to be captain of Galatasaray at 22 without being pretty decent...I would love to see him in the Prem but doubt it would be with us :-(

canny player, maybe a season or so ago, but look at the class of player linked now, think he will be a good buy for someone, but not us.we are pushing onto the next level now i think he would be good for a team trying to push onto the level that we are currently at, maybe them 10 miles north

true, just noticed it on bbc earlier on thought i'd ask ! Its pretty unbelievable when you think about who we had a few seasons back....... jeff whitley!! only the greatest safc midfielder EVER! lol

Aren't there serious doubts about his fitness. From what I remember at one point it was so serious that the medics were concerned that he could literally cripple himself. Would he pass a medical? Anyway, is he not the standard of player that we were looking at in the past?

I see that he's gone on loan to Wolves. How can I put this without sounding smug? I think this shows that he's the level of player that we were interested in, but aren't any more.

Hit the nail on the head. A canny player no doubt, 18 months ago would have been a great signing. Now though, would he get in infront of Henderson, Cattermole, Sess, Muntari, Elmo, Steed, Rico....? Not in my opinion
