When it compromises the security of Israel, it is. How long before a bus gets blown up? I'd give it a day.
Firstly, as defined by a U.N resolution, Hamas is a terrorist organisation Secondly Hamas took "political" control of Palestine, with a brutal regime Thirdly, their declared ambition is to "drive the Jews" into the sea. Don't points two and three have similar connections to another organisation in the 1930's, who applied similar objectives to the Jews? Difference is this time the Jews are powerful enough to fight back, and I would imagine they have no intention of allowing the same thing to happen all over again. Hamas has absolutely no regard for the civilians in this, just as they had no regard when they seized power. All the destruction and loss of life is purely down to the Hamas doctrine, and this obsession of firing missiles into Israel.
My thoughts exactly. I wonder what the proportion of people is demanding an end to Israel's blockade of Gaza when compared to those demanding an end to Egypt's identical blockade of Gaza. After all, the only real difference between the two is Hamas isn't smuggling rockets into Gaza to fire at Egypt...
