I don't know what the colours were officially described as, but I'm guessing this badge is from 1946(?) rather than the 1930s.
Guess it would be a bit of a chew-on I thought you wanted to send a message? The name's Hull City AFC, seeing as the whole argument is about the detail. It's currently Assem Allam's business, or do you know something we don't?
Yep, got to agree that the quality isn't great. I was bought a bunch of stuff for Father's Day and I am supping out of the No.1 Fan mug at the minute, the mug isn't too bad but the transfer and quality of design is dreadful; it looks like something you win by hooking a duck! Perhaps the whole rebranding thing is so we can buy cheap foreign tat and save on the freight by selling it right back to them; a bloody master-stroke. Or, perhaps, they have more savvy and more style.
Just my trail of thought, nothing to back it up, but I’m thinking that as programmes were made with the orange and blue kit on, he maybe had some promotional badges made up too, and that could be one of them?
More likely a fundraiser for the club via the SC in immediate post war skint period. These often come up on ebay- can't be that rare.
