The amityville horror scared me when I was a kid, need to watch it again. Halloween was pretty good. I like the 60s/70s films by hammer, tigon and amicus. As well as the heaving bosoms, they all did films comprised of several short stories which were quite funny. Tales that witness madness is my favourite.

Hereditary is two thirds of a great horror movie. The third act is a bit ridiculous though.

It is a far superior remake of the made for TV mini series of the 80s.

The Exorcist is the best Horror movie ever made imho.

In fact that should be rule for all horror movies. I have yet to see a remake that is as good as the original foreign film. The Grudge being the very worst in Hollywood crap
