If we get Cavani and nobody else in January or even the summer, I'd deem it to be a successful transfer period. Napoli are 4th in Serie A at the moment though, so it beats me as to why he'd want to come here. However... it is only Europa League spot, which is potentially the same as what we're fighting for this season, but they're still fighting for top 3 in their league. He's also contracted to Napoli until 2017, so it's not going to be a cheap deal! £35-40m I'd say.

Wasted. He is a target man and needs to play up front. Great in the air, skillful and holds the ball up. For me a better player than Suarez but obviously not proven in this league yet. However he just signed a new contract at Napoli, the owner loves him and he wont be going anywhere without a massive, massive bid. Chelsea and City were both interested in the summer and he still stayed. Will cost far too much albeit a quality player. File this under B for Bollox.
no he's not as good as suarez... but look, this is merely him bailing out of napoli and like gaston ramierez he could go anywhere that offers the hard cash. that contract is not worth much but will secure the fee so i expect its just his agnet stirring like the manc who started this thread.
