Although this may seem sexist it's sadly true - women's tennis is good to watch cos it's out of 3 sets rather than 5, and the way to make women's football better is adjust it accordingly.

The goal size is the biggy for me, countless times on women's football, you see simple headers float right over the keepers for embarrassing goals, for the simple reason that female keepers are in the 5'7/5'8 range, and simply don't have the reach of male keepers, who are all 6'2+

it's done very deliberately to get people bickering and attract attention.

In terms of watching it I've tried, but the interest just isn't there much like the mens English team it's just not there for me

Newcastle and the premier league is where it starts and ends for me.

It's not a man women thing because I really enjoy the solheim cup.. Last years was way better than the ryder cup.

You can use the same argument for any sport requiring speed and muscularity though. A woman is unlikely to reach the same performance levels as a man hence all the arguments about transgender people competing in female competitions.

Presumably like any sport they will get quicker and more skillful with time. As a competition its interesting to watch as long as you don't try and compare it with the same men's sport. Its like comparing kids football with adult football and saying it's not as skillful so is not worth watching.

They should enter the women's teams into the same competitions id love to see that... Then they might realise why they don't get paid as much for their hobby.

I'm ummmm.... agreeing with you here. It still doesn't make women's football any less rubbish to watch though.

    100% agree.
They want equality then that's fine.
Mixed teams.. the best players will be selected by the teams.

Problem is this is just click bait from a sad online twitter group designed to create hostility, despite it being factually true its comparing apples with rocks.

Not one women footballer would suggest that White is better than Shearer was. Even White wouldn't suggest that!

It's sad these companies need to put out contentious rubbish like this as it creates a "them vs us" mentality between the women's and men's game when really we should support all facets of the game. Everyone knows the U21's is a different level to the full men's international tournaments like the women's is again a completely separate entity and not really comparable bar the fact it's XI players trying to stick a ball in the onion bag.

Congratulations to Ellen White on scoring 10 tournament goals though - we'd all be buzzing if that was our friend or family member.

From a financial perspective womens football is one of the fastest growing sports in the world.

But it is dwarfed by mens football.

It is supply vs demand. Always will be. If the interest is there so will the money.

I watched some of the game yesterday and the standard was ok. Some are technically good.

But equality in sport cannot be achieved because of the genetical make up in men and women being different.

And that is the main issue we have - you can't pay the women's teams the same as the men's if they aren't bringing in the same revenues. Basic economics.

Womens football is growing though in popularity and will be better funded in the future but never to the level of the men's game.

They have so much smoke blown up their skirts that they become delusional... I remember that ufc girl saying she could beat up Floyd Mayweather.. In the end she got chinned by a girl.

On my FB I have loads of LGBQT activists who aren't into football at all but constantly post about the women's team and how much more proud of them we should be than the mens team. Problem is they've still won **** all though.

Apparently women make much better bus drivers than men.

    Apparently they have more patience.

    See I can be equal.
