Before I start, I will nail my colours to the mast.
    I am a mag!
    Wait! I feel your pain.
You se, I held a season ticket for 30+ years and grew unhappy with our owner..
I never left a match early until someone scored your 3rd at our place. I left and never returned.
I am sick of owners who don't care.
I am sick of players who don't care.
The only ones who are bothered are the fans and they're being shot on from all corners.
Our first 4 away fixtures have been moved TV-over 2000 miles of ridiculous hours travel. I can't go because of work commitments and nor can most.
Who cares? Not Sky. Not the PL or EFL! Not the clubs! Only the fans.
So...I may be the enemy, but I am a football fan and I share your pain.
    Howay/Haway the lads!

Fair play for not sticking the knife in, the mags have been surprisingly reasonable about it given our ****ness.

That's cause they scurry to their Warm Glow thread. Even when the chips are down for us they get eaten alive over here. 6 in row and hammered the final nail in their relegation coffin. Takes some trumping in any form of banter.

Watching champions league football is a drag I suppose, and playing Europe. Seen 8 relegations, 1977 (Coventry fiasco and all !), 85, 87 (worst to date) 91, 97, 2003, 2006, 2017. f a cup final 1992 (although Newcastle worse than us recently) semi final 2004 and was there, league cup final 85 again was there, 2014, 1999 semi, play offs now then 1987 Gillingham 2nd leg, worst I have ever felt, 1990 6 am start as well for rubbish although we got up by default and Lou macari (the f a could have saved us all that hassle if they had decided quicker) 1998 done by penalties, continuous wrong owners bringing in the wrong managers bringing in the wrong players, will we ever get success ?. We need a quick fix in January say £20m spent to keep us up then kick on to get us up hopefully next season. On the plus side how long before we lose to Newcastle in the league again.

It's atrocious. Lived in Newcastle, and there's a sense of Humour in that city, just so happens that the small group on that board are about as funny as stinging sensation when you piss.

The impression I always got was their inability to face reality, for a lot of them they just live in a make believe world, it is evident again this season when they reached 4th position and are talking of staying there, I have watched them play and if by Christmas they have not dropped into the bottom half I will be more than surprised
It is one of the biggest differences I see between the two sets of supporters, Sunderland have always tended to be overly cautious of any success

Short would rather see us relegated than spend £20 million to keep us up.
