Even Fergie indicates he was offside.

Hard for even Fergie not to admit that was offside mate!! Just defies belief that the lino missed it....it was such an easy decision!!

May have already been said elsewhere on here, but fair play to Derry, didn't make a fuss about it. Once the decision is made, there's nothing he can do about it. A true professional.

Ciarrai my old friend it really does make you wonder when yet again the linesman has made an awful error, no doubt about it when you are down at the bottom nothing seems to go right.

But come Wednesday night I will be hoping that the match officials might know a little bit about the laws of the game

Andy Townsend's reaction: "Not a yellow card?! That's borderline red!"

    Or Sir Chris Foy.

The thing is he is now a legend for us for only correctly reffing a single game, that how much of an advantage the big clubs get. We are all stunned when they get it right.

    Here, here, a true professional.

Looks like we might be appealing the red card. What would be the usual ban for a red card of this nature (denying a goal scoring opportunity). Is it one game, versus three for violent (two footed challenge) conduct. If we lose the appeal, could this add an extra game?

Its one game and in theory they could add on another but thats only usually done if someone appeals an obvious red card to delay the suspension so they can play in an important game. I wonder if the appeal means Derry can play against Swansea anyway.
