Yeah I forgot about that - maybe you were trying to field trade down offers but nobody was offering good value.
So, Bridgewater eh.... I don't watch College Football, is he any good or is he Christian Ponder mark 2?
After watching some of Dee Fords footage I'm starting to like the pick. He sacked Manziel twice in the senior bowl, obviously brought in for Hali's replacement. Think Chiefs are focusing on the long term - and see them strengthening the OL and DL more in the draft to bring down the wage bill. Broncos are a force at the moment and we have no chance finishing above them now so wise building in the draft for the future. Will be interesting to see if Alex Smith gets a new contract or whether they let him walk for a rookie in next years draft. I honestly think the Chiefs were going to pick Manziel and the Browns got wind of this and jumped ahead of us - everyone knows we needed more picks and would have done a deal, unless we wanted Manziel of course. Browns have so far had best picks for me - Manziel is going to be a huge success or a massive failure, I can't decide which. Watching some footage he can run with the ball and pass on the move but it is a concern that he lobs it in the middle quiet a bit - has Evans bailed him out a few times? I don't know. Nevertheless I hope he is a success in the NFL from what I read if any team deserves success in the AFC more it's the Browns (plus I have a little soft spot for them as they are mentioned in How I Met Your Mother a lot) - exciting times for them and looking forward to see how their picks progress.
So who are the Texans picking first tonight? Carr or Nix for me. Imagine that D line with Watt, Clowney and Nix in!
I dunno if they'll pick Nix. Hope not anyway. Can see it being Carr or maybe even Marqise Lee? We don't know, it's too early to say, go and Google some scouting reports or better, actually watch some for yourself. You know Google exists right?
I trust this forum's collective judgement and knowledge more than that of Google, you should take it as a complement. Although from what I've read, it sounds like he's a good decision maker. That sounds positive.
He was the top QB available this year in terms of college performances but had a ****e pro day thus dropping down like he did.
Awwwwww, there are NFL players younger than me now after last night. I still believe I'll make it some day.
Josh Gordon failed a drugs test and could be out for a year. Well, at least Browns fans had one day of happiness.
