I just cannot take To him personally , but in the car he is simply stunning . Credit to him as well he is a true racer .

 

That was..... after q1 as well.... absolutely irrefutably the single best quali lap of the last 10 years.

Oh it could be said that p2 and p3 showed it wasnt that far apart but that time was absolutely everything andvthrn some from the travk and car.

The first corner imo will now decide the championship. If hamilton gets through it he will win the race imo he has the race craft as proven last race.

 

Best qualifying lap I seen was Schumacher 96 when he took pole against a Williams car that was at least a second quicker, then crashed in the race so it meant it was pointless lol

 

Why?

 

He seems to be in the form of his life with the confidence that comes with it. We haven’t seen too much of him and Vettel fighting it out on track, mainly because Vettel keeps making so many errors. Clearly he is a man rattled.

If the big question this year would be who would beat the other to a 5th championship in a straight fight the answer is obvious at the moment.

 

Incredible lap from Lewis, but don’t discount the lap from Max. That was pretty much up there too.

 

The first corner will for sure be important, but the safety car has played a big part here in recent years?

 

If Hamilton can take the lead , he can control it even with a pace car .

Just hope for a clear first corner .

Max to take himself Lewis and Vettel.out , simply to spice things up . Or for a sudden unexpected downpour after the teams have all completed their pit stops .

Hamilton's lap time.was so.amazing. the stats of how.much quicker than prior years is amazing.

the funny thing is this is the first time i think all cars have beem forced.to.use hyper in q2 and be on the high deg tyres in race.

first lap is absolutely crucial now. if it's clean I think Lewis will win.

Nice overtake from Vettel, aggressive but clean. Right on the limit.

 

Well th have changed tyres surprisingly.

I'm hoping Vettel and Hamilton push each other's tyres and that the 4 other drivers are aggressive on strategy against them.


I REALLY want someone to bolt on some Ultras on a second stop to pressure the tyre managing leaders late in this race.

 

vettel and ricciardo locked up on hypers. ricci far worse.

I predict both will stop early

 

Last years accident was 100% Max fault and that was what probably cost Vettel the title though Mercedes was definitely the faster car last year.

apparently bottas nearly passed max despite making no move

and hamilton pulled 5 seconds out on vettel despite not actually getting any further clear than the initial restart..

does he ever listen back to himself and see how stupid what he says is.
