Greece should be banned from football for at least 4 months. Their style of football brings more shame on the game than a bite.
I've always wondered why those are never penalties when a player has a shot and then gets wiped out by the man who is sliding in to try and make the block. Anywhere else on the pitch, if he was making a pass not a hot and got taken out like that it would be a foul and a yellow card...
This entire game shows just how ****ing pathetic England are. The team Greg Dyke said wouldn't get out of the group who won it even giving us a pity point, versus the team everyone like to rag on but consistently does better than England. Greece's "anti-football" created more goals than Roy's "we will attack" tactics, and with far worse players.
Technically a foul but I guess the common sense position is you're not denying any opportunities because the ball has already been played and another stage of play isn't possible.
But then is it not then an "off the ball incident"? Usually, shot taken and either goal or out of play? And on other thing, so it's not anti English just anti how,they're run....not that I care either way just thought I'd missed something cause I don't remember hearing it from you before.....
It hasn't Greece have scored just 2 goals in this World Cup. England scored 2. What Greece's tactics do do is give them a chance to get at least a draw out of the game and maybe nick all three. Would you rather Liverpool have played like Chelsea this season, we might have won the league if we had. The Chelsea game is a prime example, we didn't need to attack and could played for a 0-0. That being said Woy is a numpty who played players out of position and played the wrong formation for the players he did pick.
With club football it's more important to be entertaining because it lasts all year anyway (including tranfer window gossip) but international football is different and our world cup lasting 5 days was a complete waste of time, Roy basically got paid something like £700,000 a day just to make ******ed decisions.
