I thought McGregor gave a good show of himself, but Mayweather showed his class in the latter rounds.
McGregor won the first 3 rounds from what I seen, then Mayweather took over after that. Quite impressive though that McGregor out boxed the best boxer of his generation for the first 9 minutes of the fight.
I think he did kind of punch himself out in those early rounds, he put so much into them, and Mayweather is very good at soaking up pressure and letting his opponent tire himself out without taking to much damage.
Once Mayweather sensed McGregor was tired and had little power left in his punches, he could take chances and walk down McGregor which he did to great effect.
Let's not forget though, McGregor is no boxer, so to go for a good half an hour without even being knocked down, and even winning a few of the rounds was a great effort from him.
There is no way Mayweather, or any other boxer for that matter would survive a round in the Octagon with McGregor.

Just watched the fight back. Mayweather was terrible. No way he'd beat a real boxer with that performance but he knew he just had to show up. Every punch McGregor landed had no weight behind it and Mayweather just walked through them all. The referee needs euthanised as well. Rules were pissed upon every round. I'm glad now that when the fight was on I was staring directly at the wall as promised. [HASHTAG]#boycott[/HASHTAG]
