BBC Sport's chief F1 writer Andrew Benson
"We're told by paddock sources that the Ferrari has been in the garage much of the day because a bunch of new parts - including a new exhaust system - arrived from Italy and are being fitted to the car."

13:54 Alonso straight away heads out with flow-vis paint all over the rear wing. Vergne and Trulli follow him out

13:58 Immediately the Ferrari engineers dive over the rear of the car, examining the effect that lap has had on the flow-vis and interpreting what that means the car's aero package is doing

Red Bull and the Ferrari lacking laps today. I assume the changes made to the cars were enforced as those teams are too well run to be using testing time to fix a car. There's no night curfew for testing as far as I know.
Williams going for quantity of laps, hopefully not at the expense of quality.

Good Going from Lotus, Williams and Caterham. They obviously have faith in how reliable their car is. Ferrari the lowest of the 4 day'ers, How times have changed from when they used to rack up millions of testing miles. Is their exhaust melting the back of their car or something?
Senna, 250 laps in two days is commitment, very impressed!
