You weren't there you bitter old fool. I've since heard Martin Tyler's bitter commentary, which consisted of slating Evertonians every couple of minutes, as we weren't lifting the roof off! Read other journos reviews this morning for a more balanced view on what the atmosphere was like.....

The hypocrisy from Liverpool fans is hilarious, your fans where all delighted in 2010 when Chelsea beat you, to hand them the title, and now your having a go at Evertonians for not singing loud enough during the game. They cheered the goals, and they where booing the likes of Dzecko for time waisting. It was hardly like they where actually hoping for a City win.

I watched the game last night with a few Evertonians and reds and not all the blues wanted to win and the rest had the opposite view, but supporters aren't players and have very little influence as to what happens in a game, so all in all I couldn't give a ****.
As for you filling your knickers full of ball juice because we didn't win it, yeah its a natural reaction in your case.
Just remember to enjoy yourself when your humiliated champions are not playing in Europe's premier competition next season, we aimed for top 4 and ended up with a top 3 place and had a shout in the title race while yoonited have finished in midtable.

You're kidding yourself mate, the last title Utd won was under the management of the stabilising force at the club, look what's happened in the short time since he retired, three managers in that time, humiliation on a mega scale, player revolt, no European football.
You can only reference your future built on the success of a retired manager and you think it will be the same next season as it was two seasons ago with no guarantees, in the new order yoonited are ordinary lad, deal with it.

Van Gaal's good and will build for the long term, but I can't see United suddenly jumping back into contention. Replacing Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra and Giggs won't be easy. Scholes still hasn't been replaced either. You need to ship out Young and some other leaches who ride on the back of your genuinely good players. Fergie said we needed eight players, same is pretty much true for United now. Can't do a spuds and buy them all in one go either.

I watched parts of the United match the other day, the midfield is static. Fletcher and Carrick do nothing so they need upgrading too.
Unless you'd be happy with a core midfield/defense of Jones, Smalling, Fletcher and Carrick - I'd say you need serious buys and hope that they slot in straight away.

Giggs chooses the team and tactics and is the present yoonited manager, do you think other clubs that finished around you in mid table and above you won't be planning an "overhaul" and strengthening process for next season?
