Will it? Even if I get that spot?

  2. Yep. You won't get an extra budget for achieving that goal, you will just get your regular budget minus 2m <ok>

Fucccckkkkk oh well. Well the ****ters I wanted to move on did not move bar one giving me a solid 250k. <diva>

Sow is a beast but is extremely slow, just have to time everything or get them close as he has 93 strength. <yikes>

Still in 5th, waiting on the draw for who I get in the knockout stages of Europa.

  4. In my player-mode game, I finished second with AFC Wimbledon. The target for the following season were similar so it wasn't much of a challenge (although the team was predicted to finish sixth which considering the squad, would have been a very good finish). So, I took the decision to request a transfer which got turned down, I requested a loan and it got turned down, I left it a couple of weeks and then requested a transfer again, accepted! It took over six weeks for an offer to come in from Zenit and I rejected. Got to the last few days of the window and no one else had come in but then Zenit popped up again. This time I accepted it. When I looked at the news pages to see how much I had cost, I was shocked...twenty-three million quid! <yikes>

Played three leagues games and one CL match, won all four scoring six goals and getting two assists in the process <ok>

3 games left, in the CL spot! But the 4th spot,5,6 we are all on 58 points. No room for a mistake or I could miss out on Europe completely! <yikes>

Nice little find. Boniperti has been outstanding as CF. He is at 80 now, young ( think 22), rapid and can finish. Sebastian Arias and Cedric are two other RB/LB I would highly recommend.

Oh and Wellbeck has been back and forth but now definetely wants to go, the board are making it so. <doh>

I believe 75? At 20 he starts at 62, but I got him at about 75 give or take and by the end of the season ( top scorer in bundesliga) he was 81 at 22. Great find that. Empoli is where you shall find him.

Now is the tricky part. I got 15 mil to play with and a bit bigger budget (85k) I am in the CL ( just barely) but **** am I thin as **** in my squad!!!

Oh and **** Lucas Piazon! Stumped up ( saved) the cash to sign him at the end and he declined. **** that ****!

Oh and Muniesa was also one that I was supposed to have the option to buy at the end of the season (CB from Barca)................... ummmm I didn't loan him?

Sorry, I had 2 mil from the previous season and I guess it tallied over to the 11 mil they gave, then sold a player. Either way, I had some money to play with.

Since I dont have the no face issue, I got two 18 year old (72 overall, probably/hopefully wonderkids) on a free for the wings. Aboubakar up top from a french team ( 22 age- 74 overall). A wonderkid regen at CB on a free ( 18-69). I had a youth product come through who is 16-CM-69 overall so hoping for some big things.

I also bought Izaguirre at LB as I needed a good player in that position pronto. Bought Leali in goal ( 22-72 overall).

So pretty set with some funds to carry over into January and then see what I can get then as well.

  11. I think when you take over one of the unfashionable sides you have to take the faceless freebies <ok>

There are a fair few decent young 70-75 rated loans available at the beginning too. However, a bit like with the faceless players, I am not keen on taking loans unless I have no choice. Loans leave you at square one come the following summer <ok>

With regards to the loans, I feel you 100% but it was a necessity. This is pretty much my 3rd squad now in three years. Only good thing is finding some of the young unknown type players early ( Munoz, Wellbeck, etc) I have finally got where I only have one loanee this year, the rest have been bought.

Squeeky bum time though for Wellbeck, not sure if he will stay or go as the board transfer listed him. I have cover but he is so ****ing dynamic in the middle.

Oh and Mattheus is great find as well, everyone is trying to come in for him also.

  13. Annoys me when the board list a player, they normally force you to accept a **** offer too <grr>

I tried Mattheus before but got frustrated with the lack of face <laugh>

Just remember..... He is BEBETO kid! <laugh>

How I know I am getting old. Ronaldinho used to be a must buy and you could kill teams for years ( especially on PS2 PES). now he is alreayd past it from the get go. Sad times.

  15. Ronaldinho is still very good for a season or two but he costs far too much in terms of transfer fee for his age and his wage demands because he's a 'superstar' player <ok>

I've not picked the controller up for almost a week again, far too busy with work and personal life at the minute <ok>

  17. I work for a local community charity and we put four community events on a year, two of them have been in the last two weeks and they don't exactly take five minutes to do <laugh>

Also had issues with my boys school, the next door neighbour, TV ****ed up, car needs taxing and MOTing, tyres & wiper blades need changing and I organising having double glazing in before Christmas. Just work, football (playing and watching) and the IOSH course to fit in around that <laugh>
