we should look into Viktor Fischer, he's a class talent.

I'm as clueless about Nicky Moist adder or whatever his name is so i'll give him about 10mins in a reds shirt to decide on him.

and leandro is a decent player no question!

king what does carragher tell you then? you probably couldn't understand him though... i'll give you that.

Niklas Moisander is at Ajax at the moment, so our scout visits could look at him as well as Tobias, he's a Finnish international CB so ticks the Sami box for you...

Wonder how much of an input Carra will have into who essentially replaces him.

I would take Ashley Williams for a maximum of £4 million. If he was just an extra buy as a squad player, ala Coates, then fine. But if he's our number 1, 'big' target, then that's ridiculous.

Also, I'd take Higuain for Suarez, but only if Benzema comes too. Something like that could never happen, though. While there would be no transfer fee, we'd be adding the best part of 300k per week onto our wage bill.

Re. Williams - yeah I agree. I think he's a useful person to have but I would be willing to stretch to about £6m. The £12m fee being reported is ridiculous. However, I'm guessing Rodgers will be using the money recouped from Skrtel and Coates as well as the savings in wages. Even so, £12m is not good value.

We're all getting annoyed about a probably rubbish figure of £12M for what could be a completely unsubstantiated rumour.

Williams would add to our squad as a 3rd choice centre-back replacing Carra. £5M tops.

Speaking of £12m, Caught Offside are reporting that LFC have agreed a fee of £12m for Eriksen. The same article also describes Rodgers as Welsh.

If Caught Offside say it he must be Welsh.

  19. Interesting.

Most of us would object to spending £12m on Williams but some appear to be willing to accept a deal around the £5m-£6m mark.

Most would also accept a deal for Eriksen around the £18m-£20m mark but we've been linked (albeit by a extremely **** source) with him for just £12m above.

    Obviously, £6m + £18m would be £24m. But so would £12m + £12m.

My question is, would people be happy to see us spend £24m to bring in Williams and Eriksen regardless of how much they cost individually...?
